GreyNOC Play Store Apps

Choose a build. Test what breaks.

Three GreyNOC Android apps are open for pre-release tester intake. Pick the track that matches how you use your phone, send the Google Play email tied to your device, and help sharpen the build before public release.

Tester Queue

Pre-release
Aegis Scams, links, screenshots, metadata, trust reports
Animara Field recordings, acoustic visuals, hypothesis labels
SignalGhost WiFi, Bluetooth, acoustic indicators, telecom checklist

How Tester Access Works

One intake form. Three app tracks.

The faster testers know what GreyNOC needs, the better the feedback gets. The goal is reproducible notes from real Android devices, not polished app-store reviews.

01

Pick a track

Choose Aegis, Animara, SignalGhost, or more than one if your device and testing time fit.

02

Send device details

Include the Google Play email, device model, Android version, and permissions you can test.

03

Install from Play

After approval, use the tester link tied to your Google Play account and install the build.

04

Report what breaks

Send device, flow, expected result, actual result, screenshots if safe, and steps to reproduce.

Tester Tracks

Pick the app that matches your real-world use.

Each track needs different feedback: safety wording for suspicious content, field reliability for sound capture, and restrained privacy guidance for room checks.

Trust Scanner / Android Open

Aegis

Local-only scanning for suspicious text, links, screenshots, media metadata, scam signals, privacy leaks, and plain-language trust reports.

Scams Phishing Screenshots
  • Test copied messages, links, screenshots, media, and share sheet flows
  • Flag false alarms, unclear scores, slow scans, and confusing reports
  • Verify local-first wording stays clear and privacy-safe
Bioacoustic Analysis / Android Open

Animara

Field recording for animal calls and environmental sound, with acoustic visuals, labels, segment notes, and careful hypothesis-only language.

Field Audio Spectrograms Notes
  • Test microphone capture, visual modes, segment saving, labels, and library behavior
  • Compare quiet, noisy, indoor, outdoor, and known-animal recordings
  • Keep feedback grounded: hypotheses, not animal-translation claims
Room Privacy Scanner / Android Open

SignalGhost

Defensive room privacy checks for nearby WiFi, Bluetooth, acoustic and ultrasonic indicators, phone-sensor context, and telecom hardening.

WiFi Bluetooth Room Checks
  • Test spaces you control: homes, offices, vehicles, rentals, and meeting rooms
  • Report permission friction, false positives, baseline differences, and unclear guidance
  • Stay defensive; no bypass, decryption, cloning, or offensive telecom requests

Good Feedback Looks Like

Useful notes are specific, safe, and repeatable.

GreyNOC needs tester notes that can turn into fixes. Keep private content redacted, but include enough context to reproduce the behavior on a real device.

Include

Device context

Device model, Android version, app track, permission state, and whether the build was fresh or updated.

Include

Reproduction path

What you tapped, what you expected, what happened, and whether it repeats after closing the app.

Redact

Private material

Remove passwords, financial data, private messages, private images, exact locations, and secrets.
