Review smart devices, WiFi exposure, strong transmitters, and acoustic signals in private rooms.
SignalGhost Android Tester Program
Help test SignalGhost, GreyNOC's defensive room privacy scanner for Android. Run local checks for WiFi exposure, paired Bluetooth, acoustic and ultrasonic indicators, and telecom hardening.
Test Targets
SignalGhost runs in spaces you control. Test whether it spots useful signals and hardening gaps without overstating what a phone's sensors can prove.
Scan visible access points, hidden SSID indicators, weak/open networks, and very strong nearby transmitters.
Track 02Review paired and nearby device behavior within Android's permission limits.
Track 03Test microphone sampling for noise floor, narrowband tones, ultrasonic energy, and pulse-like indicators.
Track 04Run the telecom hardening checklist for SIM swap, voicemail PIN, call forwarding, and non-SMS MFA guidance.
Who Should Test
Test in places you control or are authorized to inspect: homes, small offices, vehicles, and short-term spaces.
Review smart devices, WiFi exposure, strong transmitters, and acoustic signals in private rooms.
Run quick checks in rooms, vehicles, rentals, or short-term work areas where signal context changes.
Use hardening guidance before sensitive meetings, client calls, and device-heavy office setups.
How To Join
Complete the signup form with your Google Play tester email, Android device, Android version, and whether you can test WiFi, Bluetooth, microphone, sensor, or telecom-checklist behavior.
Choose SignalGhost in the tester form and include your Google Play account.
Use the tester install link after your account is added.
Compare quiet rooms, device-heavy rooms, travel spaces, and known baseline environments.
Include permissions, Android version, room context, scan type, confusing results, and steps to reproduce.
Keep tester notes focused on safe local indicators, false positives, permission friction, and plain-language recommendations. Do not request packet capture, decryption, SIM cloning, access-control bypass, or offensive telecom tooling.
