GreyNOC does not sell personal information collected through Aegis and does not use Aegis user data for third-party advertising sales.

Aegis is provided by GreyNOC, a Michigan-based cybersecurity and software company. In this policy, "GreyNOC," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the developer and operator of Aegis.

The information connected to Aegis depends on the features you use, the permissions you grant, your device settings, and whether you contact GreyNOC for support.
Aegis is not designed to collect sensitive information unless it is necessary for a feature you choose to use, required by the Android permission you grant, provided by you for support, or required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
GreyNOC may use information connected to Aegis for the following purposes:
Aegis may request Android permissions when a feature needs access to device functionality or information. Permission prompts are controlled by Android and can usually be managed in your device settings.
If you deny or later disable a permission, some Aegis features may not work as intended. GreyNOC encourages users to grant only the permissions they are comfortable using.
GreyNOC may share information only when needed for limited operational, security, legal, or user-requested purposes.
Aegis may rely on third-party services such as Google Play services, Android platform services, crash reporting, analytics, cloud hosting, support tooling, payment processing, or security tooling. Those services may process information under their own privacy policies and terms.
GreyNOC chooses service providers to support app functionality, reliability, security, and support. We do not authorize service providers to sell Aegis personal information.
Some Aegis data may stay on your device unless you choose to submit it, sync it, back it up, or use a feature that requires cloud processing. You can usually remove local app data through Android settings or by uninstalling the app.
GreyNOC keeps information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including app operation, support, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and legitimate business records.
GreyNOC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information connected to Aegis. No app, network, device, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
If you believe Aegis or a GreyNOC system has a security issue, contact CustomerService@GreyNOC.com.
You may contact GreyNOC to ask questions, request access to information you provided, request correction, or request deletion of information GreyNOC controls.
Send requests to CustomerService@GreyNOC.com with the subject "Aegis Privacy Request." We may need to verify your request before taking action. Some information may be retained when required by law, security needs, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or legitimate business records.
Aegis is not directed to children under 13. GreyNOC does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through Aegis. If you believe a child has provided personal information to GreyNOC through Aegis, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
GreyNOC is based in the United States. If you use Aegis from outside the United States, information connected to the app may be processed in the United States or other locations where GreyNOC or its service providers operate.
GreyNOC may update this Privacy Policy when Aegis changes, when legal or platform requirements change, or when our privacy practices need to be clarified. The updated policy will show a new effective date. Continued use of Aegis after an update means the updated policy applies.
