Today’s Guardian update brings some of the biggest improvements yet, focused on performance, visibility, and real time monitoring.
The first thing you will notice is how much smoother the app feels when it starts. There used to be a short pause while a scan initialized, which made the app feel like it was hanging. That has been completely reworked. Guardian now loads immediately and stays responsive while everything initializes in the background, so you can start using it right away without any delay.
The home screen also got a major upgrade. The empty space in the header has been replaced with a live ISP information banner. This gives you instant insight into your network environment, including ISP details, BGP status, and overall routing health. It moves smoothly, stays readable, and fits naturally into the interface without being distracting.
In the Network section, we added a live traffic graph under Live Capture. This acts as a real time meter for your network activity. Instead of just watching packets scroll by, you can now actually see traffic patterns as they happen. Spikes, drops, and sudden bursts stand out immediately, making it much easier to catch changes in flow and identify unusual behavior.
We also introduced a pop out option for the Network view. You can now move it to a second screen and use it as a dedicated monitoring display. This is especially useful for anyone running multi screen setups. Everything stays synced, so you always have an accurate real time view no matter where you are looking.
This update is all about turning Guardian into a true live monitoring tool that helps you see and understand what is happening on your network as it happens.
More improvements are already on the way.
