GREYNOC GUARDIAN v6.1 – Windows Release

Today we are releasing GREYNOC GUARDIAN v6.1 for Windows.

Guardian is a local, offline security application that works as both a traditional antivirus scanner and a dedicated Anti-AI Shield. It is built with PyQt6 and runs completely on your machine with zero telemetry or cloud dependency.

What Guardian Does

• Scans files for known malware hashes and suspicious behavior
• Monitors and can terminate AI-related processes and model files
• Provides real-time network monitoring with listening port analysis and controls
• Includes quarantine, dry-run mode, whitelist support, and detailed audit logging

Interface & Customization

• Retro 80s cyberpunk design with a default Virtual Boy red theme
• Multiple additional skins available
• PIN-protected operator accounts with support for custom profile pictures

All data is stored locally in ~/.greynoc.

Easy Installation for Windows Users

We now provide a proper Windows installer (.exe) so anyone can run Guardian without installing Python or using the command line.

Installation steps:

1. Download the Windows installer
2. Double-click the .exe file
3. Follow the simple setup wizard

Guardian will then appear in your Start menu like any normal Windows application.

Linux and macOS support are in development.
